Judy Dwyer

Rev. Dwyer (aka “Pastor Judy”) holds a Masters’ degree in Pastoral Counseling and an MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, from which she graduated in 2012 after serving Abington Presbyterian Church as the Director of Pastoral Ministries for several years. A board-certified chaplain, Judy has served a continuing care retirement community in Doylestown and in transitional positions at Grace Presbyterian Church, Jenkintown and Calvary Presbyterian, Wyncote. Recently retired from Northampton Presbyterian Church in Holland, PA, Judy feels called to continue her care for others as Parish Associate for Pastoral Care at Abington. As a lifelong “outsider,” Judy feels deeply for others who live outside the parameters of others’ expectations. The training she received at Interfaith Philadelphia has strengthened her resolve to reach across boundaries to what we hold in common. Judy holds family time as precious and enjoys reading detective novels; singing, swimming and traveling. She and husband John are delighted to be the parents of three grown children and five “grands” who grow them younger every day!
