CONGREGATIONAL LIFE

Fellowship Activities

This is a sampling of the numerous fellowship activities available at APC.

Bridge Families

New church members are introduced to current members who may share like interests to welcome them into the Abington Presbyterian Church family and provide support for their joining in the worship experience and clubs.

Homecoming Sunday & June APC Picnic

On the first Sunday after Labor Day, Abington Presbyterian Church celebrates the end of summer and the beginning of a new program year with an outdoor celebration that includes games, picnic food, displays and activities for children. To conclude the program year and welcome summer schedule offerings, we hold a picnic in June to gather our worship community together for food and games.

MyKids Group

Music Program

Three graded bell choirs, two children’s choirs, a youth choir, and an adult choir that doubles as a community choir. Add the Abington Symphony Orchestra and the Music at Abington series to round out an ambitious music program that attracts music professionals and aficionados from far and wide.

Women’s Book Club

For women who love to read. Meetings are held every other month in members’ homes, where social time is followed by discussion of a previously-chosen book. All women are welcome to come, even if they haven’t had time to read the book.

This has become an annual tradition at Abington Presbyterian Church.  Our Youth Fellowship holds a Cabaret Night, featuring their talents in skits, recitals and videos.  The proceeds fund their annual mission trip.

Quizzo

This is an opportunity for members and friends to get together in our Parish Hall and use their brains to answer some challenging trivia questions.  We hold this event annually.
