We had 15 people participate in the discussion of The Good Neighbor: The Life and Work of Fred Rogers by Maxwell King.  We had 4 people who joined for the discussion of the Fred Rogers: Zene Colt, Judy and Ross Cornman, and Julia Waite. The discussion very interesting and covered his life and impact of Fred’s Rogers’ dedication to provide quality early children’s educational TV programming.

Our next meeting is scheduled for September 25 at 7PM in the Parlor and the book is  Down the Great Unknown: John Wesley Powell’s 1869 Journey of Discovery and Tragedy Through the Grand Canyon by Edward Dolnick.  This book has 3 books in the system and all are available with no holds.

The book that was originally picked for our next book, American Nations, has no books currently available in the Montgomery Co. library system (of only 2 books) and it currently has 4 holds.
