The Session has called a meeting of the congregation of Abington Presbyterian Church to be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026, immediately following the 10:00 a.m. worship service. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the Nominating Committee’s report and to elect Elders, Deacons, members of the congregational Nominating Committee, and members of the Audit Committee.

This year, the Session has decided to hold a congregational meeting in January for the purpose of receiving the Nominating Committee’s report and acting on the slate this committee presents.  Electing our church officers prior to the Annual Meeting in February will allow time for new elders and deacons to be trained before their examination by the Session and their ordination and/or installation in March. We will still hold our Annual Meeting of the Congregation and the Corporation on the last Sunday of February, as has become our custom. Please note that we will have only ONE worship service on January 25.
