Immigration Issues in a Biblical Context

How does our current immigration system match up with Biblical teaching? APC member Bill Stock, who works as an immigration attorney at Klasko Immigration Law Partners, will examine how our current immigration system is in tension both with the command to “love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt” (Deuteronomy 10:19) and the command to “let every person be subject to the governing authorities” (Romans 13:1). This talk will combine an historical and biblical perspective on immigration to the United States with discussion of our current system for controlling migration.
